In this section you may read how to manage membership plans and packages.
The system provides you with a variety of options that the administrator can use to set membership plans. Membership plans will not have an effect until the administrator have assigned them to a User Group. In this section you will get known how to manage membership plans.
The ‘Membership Plans’ page of ‘Membership Plan Management’ section displays all existing Membership Plans that you currently have in the system. On that page you can add a membership plan by clicking on the ‘Add a New Membership Plan’ link. Set the following membership plan parameters in the opened dialog box:
• Name – name of a membership plan;
• Description - membership plan description;
• Price - membership plan subscription price;
• Expiration Period – the number of days during which user's subscription will be available from the moment of the subscription;
• Type – there are two types of membership plans:
Fee Based – the plan assigned for FSBO(ForSaleByOwner) users. If a user is subscribed to the 'Fee Based' membership plan and the administrator changes the settings of this membership plan, these settings become operative immediately for the user.
Subscription – the plan assigned for agents. The membership plan of Subscription type provides services and features for a particular period of time. So, if a user is subscribed to the 'Subscription' membership plan and the administrator changes settings of this membership plan, these settings will not be changed for the user until his membership plan expired.
• Listings Amount – The number of listings user subscribed to a membership plan may add to the system.
Allowed Listing Type – Users subscribed to this membership plan will be able to post listings of the selected type only.
Pages – admin can set a list of pages available only for users subscribed to that plan. Selected pages will not be accessible for users subscribed to other plans.
To submit a new membership plan click on the ‘Save’ button. The new membership plan will appear in the membership plans list.
To edit a membership plan click on the ‘Edit’ icon in the membership plans list. The administrator can change all parameters of a membership plan except 'type'. A type of a membership plan can't be changed.
On the ‘Edit Membership Plan’ page an administrator can add a new package. A package in a membership plan is a set of listing features, options and limitations which will be applied to a particular listing. By clicking on the ‘Add a New Package' link you will see a dialog box ‘Add a New Package’ with the following fields:
• Name – name of a new package;
• Description - description of a new package;
• Price - price of a new package;
• Listing Lifetime (Days) - listing lifetime before expiration in days;
• Is Featured – this flag means that listing will be featured (if this flag is selected the listings of this package will be featured by default);
• Price for Upgrade to Featured – the price required for upgrading listing to featured;
• Number of Pictures Allowed - number of pictures a user can attach to a listing;
• Is Video Allowed - this flag means that a user can download video for listing.
To submit your package click on the ‘Add’ button. The new package will appear in the ‘Packages Included’ table. By clicking on the ‘Edit’ icon next to a correspond package you can change all the above-listed parameters of a package. By clicking on the ‘Delete’ icon next to a correspond package you can delete a package.
If there are no users in the system subscribed to a membership plan, then this membership plan can be deleted by the administrator. To delete a membership plan click on the ‘Delete’ icon in the membership plans list on the membership plans page. |
